Cops… friends or foe.

“Cops Gone Wild” is a great story that makes tons of sense. How far can and should an officer go to check a person for an illegal substance? In this video, a boy eggs on a cop and the cop answers back. The cop checks the kid because he says to the cop somethin like it is not my business to discuss this issue with you. In ordered to live a good life, people need to know and be informed about their rights. If a cop is going against a persons rights, the person being violated should have enough common sense to say to themselves and the cop, hey wait a minute you can’t do that. The problem in todays society is that people trust too many people. There have been numerous stories about cops going and beating a person for the littlest reason, if any. Cops are humans too, they make mistakes. A way to avoid this is to be well informed. Having information there by your side can make a bad situation a little better. Taking the time now to look at your rights can help save you if you are ever in this kind of situation.
Intersting take on the good life, this is a view that I dont think has been brought up before, I completly agree that everyone trusts everyone today and too many people shouldnt be truseted. Very intresting blog!
This is so true. There are way too many people out there who don’t know their rights and they could be living much fuller lives if they were informed.
This is all too accurate. Having watched the “Busted” video on youtube, I can say that knowing your rights, and the limits to which things can be taken acceptably are very helpful. Though, being compliant with a cop has never hurt me. Take a look at that video.
